Hokkaido Fair + Underwater World 06.07.14~06.07.16
Recently Isetan Singapore had a Hokkaido Fair at Tampines Mall,
wonder you all knew about it?
I worked as a cheese promoter for 2 days..
and it was very tiring....
BUT FUN!!!!!
i got to practice my Japanese,found out about Japanese culture,
and ate a lot of nice Japanese food.
They are expensive for a simple reason -- OISHII
at Isetan Scotts's Hokkaido Fair I had already did a day before,
The Nohiras 野平夫婦 were very nice to me,did not push me for sales.. over at TM,the Nohiras went back to Japan so his employer Kimura san 木村真一 came to replace them.Equally nice guy =)

Kimura san is 24 years old only..

his father does agriculture..
so when i ask if he has a pet,
he said 'yeah,a dog and 200 cows'

he is very interesting,like typical young people.he would ask me what is the latest hairstyles in Singapore,what music i like.. those topics that young people will talk about. This is very unusual BECAUSE those who came from Japan are of some age already,you hardly find a 24 yr old kid.Others are like 50+.. so..it's kinda different.

Suzuki san,鈴木 繁 the vendor of the super popular ice cream counter. ”何言ってんだよ？？”-"what did you say?"
that's what he will say where i ask him for money as a present. ahah.. he is very cute,like to disturb,poke and punch me.. will play with me..when i 'bang bang' him he will pretend to be injured.. then got one time i 'bang' him again,and he pretended..but he did it for a bit too long.. then i realised his back was realy aching..hhaha
but he very bad,cos sales very good,he dun let his employee go lunch but he went for massage himself..
Kaneda san 金田英幸 very cute right????
haha! kawaii..! but i heard he is a bit of a loner..he is a German-certified chef.. he makes pastries and cakes...
this is my FAVOURITE photo.. becos got my FAVOURITE vendor,nagata san. he doesn't wear a name tag so i dunno his name! but he is very very very very charming.. i saw him a lot of times already,over at scotts..and over here. hair very messy,but very charming.. he has got a killer smile.. i almost died...haha..... 28 yrs old though. hheh. Because Kimura san is a close friend of Nagata san,so i said ’あなたの友達、ペパーミントオイルを売っているの人、かっこいいと思って’ -Your friend,the one who sells peppermint oil,i think he's cool
and he said "aa,sou sou.he's Japanese Favourite" i wanted to say.. "he's my Favourite too!!" HAHA!! but really,everytime he walk pass i want to faint once..
Kaneda san KAWAII! he looks so smiley... like a grandfather.. maybe he isn't that old la.. cos he say like father and daughter..haha...
Mizuho san 山中瑞穂! very nice and cute girl! she is the employee of Suzuki i/c man. i asked her : 食べたんの？まだ食事？-ate already? she shook her head 大変ね。。-tough ne.. 大変よ -TOUGH! she really very cute la... 28 yrs old... behind the girl very extra..haha...

Tomita san 富田 稔 very interesting ojisan!!! first he asked my name,then where i live..orchard? he asked. so i drew the mrt route map to show how far was tampines for me.. i just drew a straight line
jurong ----- orchard ----- tampines.
then he very puzzled,say i'm wrong..then i very confused. then he told me my orchard sld be city hall,and orchard sld be on the route up from city hall.. SHOCK! he knows the singapore mrt route map!! i so shocked la... then i say 'i'm not singaporean.. you are..' then my japanese not that good.. so he pointed at me and say できない！-cannot! so childish! haha but very funny.
he sells cheesecakes btw,really very oishii. until out of stock..it's that good. i bought $20 worth of it.haha. i earn and spend..doing 2 things at a time..
when it was time to go home,i was very sad. i had to make a point to go talk to my nagata san.so i went to him and say お疲れ様です！-you have worked hard! 写真あった？-got photo? (cos i developed the photos for them) he was shocked that i could speak a bit of Japanese.もらった。ありがとう！-received.thank you! then i say i'm only replacing my fren for today.. as my collaegues were waiting for me i did not say much..

some things are just weird noe..my mother wanted to have a look at the fair so we went to TM on Sat..
then just so happened my colleague fell sick!! quite serious lor.then kimura san ask me if i can replace her.. like OF COURSE???! so i started work immediately.. just a perfect coincidence.. but i had to let my mum go home herself.. :(
work as usual,but sales was better on a Sat..i very happy =D TM is really crowded i must say.. then my brother and his gf came to visit me also..
this is another Suzuki san.鈴木じゅん he very hentai one.he always come and say all those dirty things.my collaegues all tell me not to talk to him. even kimura say he's DANGER MAN. another suzuki san say dont talk to him. ABUNAI..-dangerous.. haha..
but his english is quite good.. and sometimes he is fun to have ard.. minus the 'hamsap' part maybe..haha.. he's a good salesman also. he helped me sell some cheese to 2 GIRLS. hah.. he sells beans actually. but he,nagata san and kimura san always go and have break together one. on the 2nd day nagata san and suzuki san came to my counter to find kimura san to go break.then i was poking the pieces of cheese for testing mah.. then suddenly someone came and grabbed all the cheese. i was like 'who so hungry??' i immediately turned my head and i saw.... NAGATA san!! haha.. he gave a killer smile..... then i died. haha.........
last pic was with nagata san. long story.
i was thinking,hey last day working with them liao,i want my photo with nagata san. so i ask kimura san,"i want to take pic with your friend. then he asked suzuki san. hence the above photo.. then i sian diao.. but nvm,i plucked up my courage and say is nagata san that i want to talk pic with.. so we went over to his booth and my boss actually said "because she thinks you are very cool,she wants to marry you' i 'ehhhh!' quite loudly. then they laughed. then kimura san corrected himself and say i want a photo with him. HAHAH.......... but i think i smiled too much in this photo,a bit unnatural. sad..... nagata san.......... byebye...........
actually i left already,then i remembered that i left my cheesecake in the fridge. so i went back and take it... sun bian took a pic with suzuki san. there was another kimura san that i wanted to take pic with,but... cnt find him.. sell horse oil de..
THUS,ends my Isetan Hokkaido Fair adventure. =)

then,something strange happened. kimura san emailed me and say let's go sightseeing. but i got work. so i requested to end work at 3 to meet him. he has to go back hotel by 8 anyway. so must well be guide lor. at first want to call tomoko san along but she not free.
i called him after work, hearing'moshi moshi' said by a Japanese was a weird experience. haha. he was at Isetan Scotts,shopping i think. Before this he already told us he wasnt to go orchard see see and Isetan Scotts also. so later i met him at Isetan Scotts. He was alone because the other ojisan wants to play golf but he being a young kid, had no interest for golf. haha. duno why mizuho san nv come along..she wanted to go chinatown..not sure. anyway,he wanted to see Merlion so i brought him to Esplanade. I asked him if look like durian. then he got his disgusted face cos he thinks durian is smelly. hha
when we were walking from esplanade to merlion,he keep saying it's hot.ok understandable. hokkaido is cold,can go down to -25c. and he ask if he walking very fast,cos his legs are longer. -_________- and he ask me how tall i want to grow. i say 'no hope'! he laughed. he say next time when he see i must grow taller... bleh.
he very excited to see Merlion ok..
i look a bit spastic here..
then he say he wants to go somewhere that depicts Singapore.. i very lousy tour guide la.. then suddenly he ask got 水族館 or not.. i say got! Underwater world lor. apparently he likes fishes. so,we took taxi to Sentosa. cos he say taxi very cheap. he explained that cars in japan are cheap,so taxi are expensive. here in singapore,the cars are expensive(about 3x Japan's) but the taxi is cheap. he insisted on paying everything,saying he's rich.haha.
so we went underwater world! very long since i've been there! exciting ok.
he says it's like on a date. haha.. then i no comments...
he also ask me if he looks nicer in specs.. i said yeah... true right?

went to see the big Merlion at Sentosa since he like Merlion so much..hhaa..
then he needed to go back hotel and i needed to go for Japanese class.. took taxi again...haha... his hotel is Changi Village Hotel.. but he still sent me to class first.. nice hor...
