horse riding
today's not 7th Jan, but jus wanna make a note of this special day so i track back =>
met my cousin in the morning to go horse riding! =)
took Mega's(a horse racer and dancer and mountain climber who looks like 40 yrs old when he's actually 65) car to Kulai,where The Legends Resort is..went to the Rider's Lodge and booked the beginner's course (M$102) and watched some kids ride their horses..so nervous..was scared that the horse would throw me off la..haha..
after that we went to the resort to have our lunch.. chicken chop there was nice man! haha..took a buggy ride to the fishing lake.but had no time to fish..
soon it was time to ride...haha..whoa,look at those muscles man!LOL..many of them are ex-race horses..now they r old..but still very tall,very majestic..my horse was Katie,my brother's Impiana,and my cousin's Kampung Boy..our instructor was Catherine..there was a horse named 'Is it true' and one called 'Please be true' so we joked that they r friends and when they are talking it would be something like that..
"Is it true?"
"Please be true..."
hahaa...
was really nervous when we had to step up the stirrups to get up the horse..haha..anyway fyi,to make the horse go right,u gotta pull the right rein/kick the left side of the horse.. and vice versa.. to stop,pull the reins. to move,kick both sides with ur lower legs and heels..
Kampung Boy had a rather bad temper,almost threw my cousin off! when it was supposed to trot,it neighed and stood on 2 legs! u know,that kind,very majestic pose..? cool man.. but my cousin was tramatised..now he hates kampung boy hahaha...Katie was quite alright,a bit naughty sometimes..had to use a whip...lol!Impiana was a bit slow... haha...
i think troting is really hard.. super tiring... and i can't keep up with the horse..but i really wish to try again ^_^now i kinda like horses..they r really majestic animals..and cute too ^^
now i know why they called doing 'that' 'riding a horse'!! it's damn tiring and the things u do during riding and 'that' are very similar..ahaha
jockey's outfit very nice.... shall be my inspiration for my next outfit..also bought a lucky horse shoe..
